Should I buy a telephoto lens?

Telephoto lenses are typically used in photography to bring a subject that's far away closer to the viewer.

These lenses are great for shooting portraits and landscapes as they have a wide aperture range, which means they can produce images with a shallow depth of field. They also produce less barrel distortion than other wide-angle lenses.

There are so many different kinds of photography to experiment with. You are going to need a macro lens for close up images, a wide angle lens for landscapes and nature shots, or a telephoto lens for zooming in on faraway objects.
